IIT JEE, Physics, Chemistry Olympiads [ NSEP, NSEC, INPhO, INChO, IPhO, IchO ]
IIT-JEE or KVPY is easy for intelligent people.
Prof. Subhashish and Team of Teachers have been teaching for IIT-JEE, Science Olympiads since 1989. This is Home Tuitions for very smart Boys. We accept exceptionally smart boys of standard 10,9 or in rare cases 8.
How many people know that India hosted IPhO ( International Physics Olympiad ) in 2015 ?
Did you know that India hosted IChO ( International Chemistry Olympiad ) at Mumbai in 2001 ?
Are you aware APhO ( Asian Physics Olympiad ) was held at Delhi in 2012 ?
The number of Super High IQ people in India, is more than total US population. We have to nurture the " Bel-esprit" smart young generation. We give focused attention in small batches. We teach only few of them who are serious about Science studies ....
It is all about personal care. IIT JEE Coaching in small groups at your locality is our motto.
We have produced several IIT JEE Rankers. Many had Single digit, Double digit ranks.
Prof. Subhashish taught at IPhO National camp, HBCSE ( Homi Bhabha Center for Science Education ), BARC Campus, Mankhurd, Bombay many times. Here the top 35 students of India are chosen and trained.
5 of these brightest students represent India, for IPhO ( International Physics Olympiad ).
Coach yourself with Professors of SKMClasses at your Home.
Research shows Students Coached 1 on 1 perform Two Sigma better than those in Classrooms.

About Official Science Olympiads India ( IPhO, IChO, APhO, IBO, Astronomy Olympiad etc )
Many Indian cheats are conducting hobby exams in the name of ” Olympiads ” or Science Olympiad. These hobby exams lead to nothing. Almost all students get certificates. These cheats charge hefty fees from students and sends bunch of blank certificates to every participating school. Almost all principals can write certificates for themselves. NSO National Science Olympiad is one such example.
While the official Olympiads are those conducted by IAPT ( Indian Association of Physics Teachers ), IACT ( Indian Association of Chemistry Teachers ) and HBCSE ( Homi Bhabha Center for Science Education, Chembur, Mankhurd, BARC Mumbai ).
The Physics Olympiad exams are as follows
Level 1 NSEP = National Standard Exam in Physics
Level 2 INPhO = Indian National Physics Olympiad ( Here around 300 students are allowed to take the exam and around 35 are invited for the National camp at Mumbai )
Level 3 National camp at Mumbai, from where 5 students are selected to participate at International Physics Olympiad ( IPhO )
The Chemistry Olympaid selection has the similar exam sequence
Level 1 NSEC = National Standard Exam in Chemistry
Level 2 INChO = Indian National Chemistry Olympiad
Level 3 National camp at Mumbai ( HBCSE - Homi Bhabha Center for Science Education Mankhurd, BARC Campus, near Chembur )
5 students go for IChO ( or ICO ) International Chemistry Olympiad
Mathematics the exams are RMO ( Regional Maths Olympiad ), then INMO ( Indian National Math Olympiad ), then camp at HBCSE.
The students who represent India at IPhO, IChO or IMO ( International Maths Olympiad ) are sponsored by Govt Of India. Lodging, Boarding are taken care by Govt. of India.
India hosted the 33rd International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO) in 2001 at Mumbai. This was India's third year of participation. In year 2012 India hosted APhO ( Asian Physics Olympiad ) at New Delhi. The 46th IPhO was hosted at Mumbai, India in July 2015.
The selection for National Camp happens in the following steps ....
1 ) NSEP ( National Standard Exam in Physics ) and NSEC ( National Standard Exam in Chemistry ) held around 24 rth November. Approx 35,000 students appear for these exams every year. The exam fees is Rs 100 each. Since 1998 the IIT JEE toppers have been topping these exams and they get to know their rank / performance ahead of others.
2 ) INPhO ( Indian National Physics Olympiad ) and INChO ( Indian National Chemistry Olympiad ). around 300 students in each subject are allowed to take these exams. Students coming from outside cities are paid fair from the Govt of India.
3 ) The Top 35 students of each subject are invited at HBCSE ( Homi Bhabha Center for Science Education ) Mankhurd, near Chembur, BARC, Mumbai. After a 2-3 weeks camp the top 5 are selected to represent India. The flight tickets and many other expenses are taken care by Govt of India.
The type of Questions and course is identical to IIT JEE. You can contact Professor Subhashish Chattopadhyay
( [email protected] ) for appearing for these exams and seeing the past question papers.
The registration for Physics, and Chemistry exam can be done by paying 100 X 2 = 200 Rs. This has to be done in August. For South Bangalore Students the exam center will be Vijaya College near South End circle

We often get queries on " Science Projects ", Brilliance by Abacus classes, and students becoming " best in Maths " due to Vedic maths Classes...
It is important that we clarify our views regarding these.
We teach only chosen Bel-esprit good boys of Standard 11-12 in South Bangalore. In rare cases if a group is formed for standard 8 or Standard 9 boys then we do consider.
Please see http://skmclasses.weebly.com/everybody-knows-so-you-should-also-know.html
We have extremely strict selection criteria. Meaning just by eager paying someone can't become our student. More than 90% people approaching us are rejected.
Please see http://skmclasses.wordpress.com
In 25 years of teaching we have not met a single student who is brilliant because he did Vedic Maths or Abacus or " Science Projects ". We are aware that randomly many parents have their own views and in the society there many kind of avenues available for blowing money.
So we are not in a business of changing opinion of people, or " education reform ".
In last 18 years only 2 students from Bangalore could reach National camp of Chemistry, and none for Physics.
Though most people are eager talking about " education reform ", we do not preach .... Please see https://zookeepersblog.wordpress.com/why-do-some-people-waste-their-time-preaching/

- We do not help people for Practicals or Science projects. In youtube there are several thousand small project ideas. It will take several lifetimes to see all. Whatever is seen and picked-up is random in any case. The picked up projects can be done to get awes and appreciations. Our view is it takes huge amount of time doing science projects, also often associated with lot of cost, while learning value is very limited. We have met students of standard 8 or 9 claiming good in science because they did " Aero-modelling ". In our view the parents spent lot of money ( Laks ) buying battery driven small planes and the child wasted lot of time flying these toys and had no time for " Basic Algebra ".
In 25 years of teaching we have not met a single student who is brilliant because he did Vedic Maths or Abacus or " Science Projects ". We are aware that randomly many parents have their own views and in the society there many kind of avenues available for blowing money.
- People believe in all kinds of things. Aristotle used goat urine and Hippocrates recommended pigeon droppings for treatment of baldness. Cleopatra experimented with a goo made of ground horse teeth and deer marrow to spur Julius Caesar’s dormant hair follicles into action. During the Victorian era cold tea was brushed on the scalp, followed by citrus juice. In farming areas chickens were persuaded to leave deposits on a bald head and cows to lick it. The Australian National Maritime Museum has revealed that sufferers of rheumatism were once advised to sit inside the festering carcasses of whales in order to relieve their symptoms.
So we are not in a business of changing opinion of people, or " education reform ".
- After teaching at official National Camp for Physics ( at Homi Bhabha Center BARC Campus ) for many times, and grooming several single digit, double digit rank holders in IIT-JEE we know that standard 11 studies is 10 times tougher than standard 10. 86,000 students ( all India ) in CBSE standard 10 get A+ meaning more than 90%. In IIT-JEE from Bangalore there are hardly 5 students with a rank of better than 1000. A rank worst than 500 in IIT-JEE is not of much use.
In last 18 years only 2 students from Bangalore could reach National camp of Chemistry, and none for Physics.
